Jiggy Jalon

Here's a couple pictures of us dressed up. I tried to pull my dress in the last shot to get a pic of my ever growing belly. I'm only 6 months pregnant but I feel like I'm about 8...not complainin', just sayin'.

What's New?

It's been a while since I've been on here, so...what's new with us? Not too much really. We are all doing great though. Jalon is a growing boy. His favorite pass time is to ask questions about things. If you don't answer him in terms he understands, he'll continue to ask that same question until you do. It's fun :) We've gotten good at being specific and detailed when we answer him and that usually does the trick. We love his curious mind.

I'm 26 weeks pregnant and all things are going well with that. I have had some aches and pains but all in all nothing to complain about. This little girl is a active one; especially at night...uh oh :) We can pray she figures out that's a time for sleeping before she arrives!

Here are a couple pictures and videos of recent times. Warning, the video is a little long but there are some cute moments.

Jalon chillin' with our temporary house guest the day before she (and her family) depart.Jalon made a few crafts with his "Aunt" Sarah. They made candles here.

Bowling

Jalon is bowling with my bowling ball, which I think is 9 pounds. Beastly, I say.

A Little Impatient

So, we were scheduled for our next ultrasound February 3rd, which is the appointment we could find out the gender. We had been working so hard to not talk about what we were having, or even try to think about it, to avoid getting too swayed one way or the other. We know it a blessing to have a child, whether it be another boy or girl. But, last week, I was having a hard time thinking about anything else. So, my wonderful husband took me to a place that does 3D/4D ultrasounds and they start gender prediction as early as 15 weeks. Within just a couple minutes the technician looked at me and smiled and whispered, "It's a girl." I screamed and tears of joy began flowing down my face. I'm not sure how Eddie heard, whether I yelled it out or the technician repeated it but his reaction was a bit different ;) He was incredibly blessed but his next thoughts went to (which he repeated out loud), I guess I have to go get a shotgun now. I feel for any guy that tries to date our daughter, I think they will have a lot to go through before they will get to take her out ;) Needless to say, we are very thankful and blessed. Now....bring on the pink, bows, flowers, and frills; I LOVE it all!!!

Here are a few of the 3/D photos. They are not the best because she is still so little but they are better than nothing.

Want Some Chapstick?

I was folding laundry in the family room when I realized I hadn't heard Jalon in a minute. I ask, "Jalon, what are you doing?" He replies, "Putting on Chapstick, Mommy." Here are pictures of how he looked after putting on his Chapstick, aka a gluestick ;) Don't worry, I cleaned it off immediately, it is non-toxic, and it didn't dry on his face...in case anyone was wondering :)

Snow Fun

The past couple weeks we have been having fun in the snow. I love snow, it makes the cold weather seem worth it. We went sledding, attempted to make a snowman (but the snow was too fine), had snow ball fights, and made snow angels. Here are couple pictures of the fun.
