So, we were scheduled for our next ultrasound February 3rd, which is the appointment we could find out the gender. We had been working so hard to not talk about what we were having, or even try to think about it, to avoid getting too swayed one way or the other. We know it a blessing to have a child, whether it be another boy or girl. But, last week, I was having a hard time thinking about anything else. So, my wonderful husband took me to a place that does 3D/4D ultrasounds and they start gender prediction as early as 15 weeks. Within just a couple minutes the technician looked at me and smiled and whispered, "It's a girl." I screamed and tears of joy began flowing down my face. I'm not sure how Eddie heard, whether I yelled it out or the technician repeated it but his reaction was a bit different ;) He was incredibly blessed but his next thoughts went to (which he repeated out loud), I guess I have to go get a shotgun now. I feel for any guy that tries to date our daughter, I think they will have a lot to go through before they will get to take her out ;) Needless to say, we are very thankful and blessed. Now....bring on the pink, bows, flowers, and frills; I LOVE it all!!!
